Diprivan (propofol) is a short-acting intravenous anaesthetic
agent suitable for both induction and maintenance of general
anaesthesia, ICU sedation and sedation during diagnostic or

It is a white aquaeous isotonic oil in water emulsion for i.v.
injection with propofol (2,6 di-isopropylphenol) as its active
ingredient.
